You can access account and global settings by using the drop-down menu at the top of the page, and then selecting the Settings option.
This will bring up the settings page.
Different users may have different settings, and in many production configurations the settings are greatly simplified.
About me
In the About me section, use Update profile to change your name or email address, and Change password to change your password.
The Protection option switches session protection off and on again. You will need to switch it off to carry out some activities, including editing data that could affect your running session (like scripts).
Account administation
If you are an account administrator, you will have Account administration options. This lets you manage users and user groups within the account, and set an account theme which applies to all users in the account.
The Account manager option opens up the account manager.
This has some of the same administration options as the settings page. At the bottom of the page it shows products that you have subscribed to.
Products are packages of portal functionality that can be made available to other users. The product includes access to the appropriate node definitions, such as node types, and a template folder structure for the product. The template folder is copied to create an "instance" of the product. Some products allow you to create more than one instance.
Systems administration
The systems administration options include an Export import feature which you can use to copy, back up and restore data.
If you have turned off session protection, there will also be a Submit service option which allows you to submit XML-based service calls into the underlying processing engine. If you want to try it out, enter <GetUser/> into the request box to get details about yourself.
